Critical Incident Response Assessment
a promotion exam

Developed in colaboration with Dr. Steve Sampson, this video based test evaluates how your promotion candidates would handle the very situations that they may find themselves in if they were to receive the promotion. Their responses are then compared with literally hundreds of officers that have been successful in that position as judged by their records and their superiors.

Research indicates that success at management level positions inpublic safety work relies almost exclusively on interpersonal skills. By the time an officer achieves the level of experience necessary to be considered for promotion, they already know the rules. What they now need to succeed are skills for managing people and situations. That is the focus of this test.

This test has been in use now for nearly 2 decades with wonderful success.
