What Tests Are Used

Our tests are our tools. As long as the tests collect the proper data, the real value — the real service to you — is how that information is interpreted and reported.

That said, the tests we use are:

  • ART®-E1 — collects intelligence data. A certain level of intelligence is required for public safety positions, for various reasons, but in particular to learn the many rules and regulations that officers need to know.
  • D160 — this test reports the characteristics of the candidate's personality. From this we can report the general interactive profile of the applicant.
  • D80 — data collected by this test allows us to analyze for psychopathology that might disqualify an applicant.
