About Us

There are many people in this county that would make outstanding public safety personnel, however, there are some that can endanger the lives of themselves and others, or that would abuse the power granted public safety positions. We want to help you reduce the liability that those individuals represent by helping identify them before hiring. At the same time, we can help you improve your department by aiding in identifying the best choices among the candidates you are considering hiring.

The scoring program is the real key to the quality of our reports. Written by Dr. Herbert Eber, to score the tests exactly as he would if he were doing it “by hand,” the scoring program will recommend against hiring for a number of reasons, including:

  • Insufficient Intelligence – These candidates will have extreme difficulty learning procedures and will be less likely to use good judgment.
  • Emotional Illness – Those individuals suffering from emotional illness may endanger themselves or society and are clearly poor choices for public safety work.
  • Highly Exploitive, Destructive or Manipulative Personality Traits – These individuals are poorly suited for many jobs, but especially for public safety work where they would have substantial discretionary control over others.
  • Self-Destructive Tendencies – Such persons are likely to display poor judgment and recklessness and are therefore eliminated.
